Naturalization
When we determine your eligibility to apply for naturalization and become a U.S. citizen we ask you a few questions: Are you 18 years old? Have you been a U.S. permanent legal resident for at least 5 years (or 3 years in certain situations)? During this period, have you physically spent at least half of that time in the U.S.? During this period, have you taken any trips outside of the U.S. that lasted more than 6 months continuously? During this period, have you committed any crime or offenses? If we determine that you can apply for naturalization and you want to hire us to assist you, together we will prepare the application, file it with USCIS, and also attend the naturalization interview.
Consular report of birth abroad
Children born outside of the U.S. may obtain U.S. citizenship in certain situations. To determine if you are a U.S. citizen either because your mother, your father, or both of them were U.S. citizens at the time of your birth, we will need to know your date of birth, whether you were born from a marriage or not (out of wedlock), for how long your parents was a U.S. citizen and the amount of time your parent lived in the U.S. prior to your birth. The application for the consular report of birth abroad is made with the U.S. consulate in the country you were born in.
